Is it really 0% interest?
Eligible customers can access the NSW Home Energy Saver loan at 0% interest. Eligibility and lending conditions apply.
What does “funded by the NSW Government” mean?
The loan program is supported by the NSW Government to help eligible households install energy upgrades such as solar and battery storage.
Is this a loan or a grant?
It is a loan. You repay the amount borrowed over the agreed term, but no interest is charged.
I already have solar. Can I add a battery?
Yes. In many homes, a battery can be added to an existing solar system. We’ll check your current setup and explain your options.
I don’t have solar yet. Can I get a battery?
A battery works best as part of a complete home energy system. We can look at solar and battery together and recommend the right setup for your home.
Will a battery keep my house running during a blackout?
It can, if your system is designed with backup capability. We’ll explain what can stay powered and design the system around the appliances that matter most to you.
I’m renting. Can I apply?
You will need approval from the property owner before solar or battery equipment can be installed.
How quickly can you install?
Timing depends on your home, system, approvals and equipment availability. Once everything is ready, we’ll organise the installation and keep you updated along the way.
